Amazing Athens is a nice screensaver which shows an image of a temple on the Acropolis located in Athens. The scene shows the Parthenon, which is presently being restored. This temple is the perfect example of the architectural principles of the Greek civilization. The image in the screensaver shows a small stream or river at the foot of the temple, but this is not present at the original site. This stream has movement, but the effect is not very well done and the image quality actually isn't very good. Unfortunately, the screensaver offers no sounds or music, but if you want, you can add your own music playlist in the settings menu.
In the same menu, you will also be able to adjust the DirectX quality, animation speed of the water, and image size. It also gives you the option of adding a transparent analog clock in any of the screen corners. Moreover, the screensaver comes with a small viewer, which allows you to view the image, zoom it, and set it as desktop wallpaper with one click.
